Mrs. Nelle A. Willis, 88, of Hickory View Manor Shelter Care home, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Willis was born on June 7, 1887, the daughter of George W. and Celia (Stinson) Bennett.

She was married in 1902 to George E. Willis, who died in 1936.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the graveside in Oakwood cemetery, with the Rev. Howard Kraps officiating.

Friends may call at Myers Chapel from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Willis is survived by one son, G. Weldon Willis, New York; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Fannie) Wielt, Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Charles (Louise) Nold, Joliet, and Mrs. Maurice (Edna) Ward, Joliet; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne B. Willis, in 1951.

The family of Mrs. Willis would apapreciate contributions to the Heart Fund.
